We’re hiring freelance music facilitators

Are you a talented musician and facilitator passionate about empowering people through music?

About us

At Finding Rhythms, we use music as a catalyst to empower people to improve their lives.

We run collaborative music-making courses for those at risk of offending—both in prisons and in the community. Led by music industry professionals, our creative programs give participants the tools to build confidence, develop transferrable skills, and forge positive relationships, supporting their desistance from crime.

Alongside music-making, participants can also achieve a King’s Trust qualification in Personal Development and Employability Skills.

Our culturally-relevant facilitators use a person-centred approach, high-quality music production, and professional equipment to empower participants and inspire change.

Who we’re looking for

We are on the lookout for music facilitators to lead sessions with people at risk of offending and reoffending. You may have expertise in either music production, lyric writing, rapping or general group facilitation in a musical setting. You will be knowledgeable about, and able to work within a wide range of contemporary music genres and subgenres.

We are not looking for traditional music teachers or educators, but those who have the skills to lead and encourage creative expression.
