Dr Ron Dodzro

Dr Ron holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University of Hertfordshire. He is passionate about challenging inequalities in society that impact people’s wellbeing and amplifying the voices of marginalised communities.

Ron has an interest in developing creative, trauma-informed interventions that are accessible and meaningful for individuals and communities. One of his well-known works is a report named ‘The Life of A Top Boy: Community Trauma and Violence’. It amplifies the voices of those with first-hand experience of the community violence that dominates our headlines and unpicks the psychological impact of community violence through a lens of trauma.

The understanding that music is a therapeutic resource that has the power to change lives is what drew Dr Ron to Finding Rhythms.
